Our girls enjoy their food. They enjoy crackers and corn dogs and mac 'n' cheese, but they also enjoy the finer things. For example, crumbled gorgonzola (Bella) and fresh shaved parmesan (Eva). I'm pretty sure I was well into my teens (if not early twenties!) before I tasted these myself. Eva has gone so far as to refuse pureed peas and rice cereal, but will eat the rice and peas from my risotto with gusto. We're not sure if it's the pureed texture that bothers her, or if it's the fact that it's coming off of my plate that tempts her. Either way, we're glad to see that our kids seem to have good taste.
