School

Today is the beginning of finals for Andrew. Last time I updated on school was right before midterms and I am happy to report that he once again passed with flying colors. Today is tech skills (mostly radiology type stuff), and next week is adult medicine, maternal child health, pharmacology, and emergency medicine. Thursday is his last one, and after he is done he is planning a celebratory trip to Cabela's. Then we're going to hang around here for a few days basking in the gloriousness of having relatively nothing to do before heading down to Moscow for a week so that Andrew can do his first clinical rotation at the U of I student health clinic. Yup, that's right, he'll be treating patients. In some ways we're looking forward to that and thinking, "Uh, really? Already?" and in other ways we're thinking "It's about stinkin' time!!" Then it's back to one more quarter of book-ish type stuff here in Spokane, then some stuff in Seattle and online, and then it's time for Clinical Year! We're hoping to get most of our clinical rotations in the quad-cities (Moscow, Pullman, Lewiston, & Clarkston for those of you out-of-towners) so that we can move back down to Moscow sooner rather than later. We're pretty much excited about it though any which way it goes. In 17 months Andrew will be done and we can say goodbye to school!

376 days down and 531 to go.
