Andrew turned 28 back in November and I made this Chocolate Stout cake for him. It's chocolate and beer - how can you go wrong?! It is super decadent and moist. This is my idea of a perfect chocolate cake. I'm also a huge fan of the simple ganache icing. Again, chocolate and heavy cream - how can you go wrong?! After it was thoroughly chilled and set I shined it up with my kitchen torch to give it a high gloss.
