Teddy Bear Clinic

Last Saturday, Grandma took the girls to the Teddy Bear Clinic at Gritman Medical Center where she works. I think they do this every two years, and this is Bella's third time going. They get to tour the hospital and see all the different departments and there are teddy bears getting treated throughout the hospital for them to see. They bring their own teddy bears who get bandaids and hospital bracelets and they even get to go to the Family Birth Center to see any of the new babies who may be at the Nurse's Station (this was particularly fun for Bella two years ago when she went just a month before Eva was to be born). Here's a photo from Gritman of Grandma with the girls in one of the rooms...

At one of the stations in the hospital the kids were educated on proper dietary practices, and in their case it means "eating the rainbow". This obviously (to me) means eating lots of fruits and vegetables and other such colorful stuff, which is great. However, they were apparently not very clear when educating our young ones because this morning as Bella was eating her Fruit Loops she said, "Mom! Look! I'm eating the rainbow!"
