Winter Gardening

Apparently I missed the memo that I live in North Idaho where it snows a lot, because I just keep on gardening through winter. Here are my green onions, lettuces, and broccoli in the cold frame, complete with a dusting of snow and more falling.

Here is the lettuce I harvested 3 days before Christmas so that the voles and mice wouldn't get it.

Here is the vegetable garden plan I started on the week after Christmas because I Just. Couldn't. Wait.

And here is the finished [unlabeled] plan. 90% of the seeds are here with just a few on backorder and a few left to be picked up from local stores when they come in. In a week or two, I will start planting seeds indoors.
