I managed to forget my camera/forget to take pictures for most of our Christmas festivities, so this post may be a bit wordy. I did get a video of Bella rockin' out to her new Hannah Montana piano though (with my super-duper new video camera!), so maybe I'll get around to putting that up here soon.
We started out at Andrew's aunt and uncle's on Wednesday night. Dinner was fantastic (the best ham ever), and the tree was a good 14' tall or so. We had a great time opening presents and managed to even surprise each other with a few things! Christmas morning was spent at home with just the three of us (plus little Junebaby doing somersaults in my belly), and then Grandma Bonnie came over for more grand present opening. After a quick nap, we headed out to my parents for Christmas dinner (yummy yummy turkey!) and more presents.
Now we're attempting a recovery...cleaning up the wrapping paper, putting away the toys (and playing with them), and tucking away ribbons and boxes to be used next year. It's a very strange thing to know that next year we will be in Spokane...
I mentioned that Junebaby is doing somersaults in my belly. It's very true. In the past week his activity has skyrocketed and I can feel him jabbing me just about every time I sit down for a minute! We don't know for sure if it's a boy or girl yet, but I'm guessing boy because 1) Bella was never this active, and 2) I'm used to the idea of girl babies and I figure I need to get used to the idea of having a boy! Andrew is convinced that it's a girl again, so I guess one of us will get to do the "I told you so" dance when we go in for our ultrasound in the middle of January.
Bella apparently needs to take my blood pressure now (courtesy of her new doctor set), so I'd better be going. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and is enjoying some relaxing time off!
