If Only.

I told Bella to go clean her room and she came out a  few minutes later and asked, "Mom, is it okay if I play in my room instead of clean it?" to which I replied, "How about you do both? Find the fun and snap the job's a game!", using all of my hard earned Mary Poppins wisdom. Bella countered with, "But Mom, the things won't lift up!" Ah, too true, child, too true.
